Visiting Team

We have a small team of people who visit those members of our congregation who, because of age or ill health, are not now able to get to church for weekly worship. Missing out on the interaction and fellowship with those we have worshipped alongside for many years can be hard and so visits are always welcomed.

Our team aim to visit in two’s, as safeguarding requires, and to call at least once a month taking along a service sheet and notice sheet with news of what is happening at church to keep people in touch and to help them in their prayers. The team are also able to offer Holy Communion three times a year.

It’s easy for people to “fall through the net” so if you notice someone who usually sits near you is absent for a few weeks please let us know via the office and we will do our best to visit.
