St James Food Bank

We run a food bank to support individuals and families in need. Food parcels can be collected from Cornerstone on Denton Street (open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm, and Saturday 10.00am to 1.00pm) or the Parish Centre on St James Road (open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm).

Food Donations

We have a lot of people who use our food bank, therefore in order to keep our shelves stocked with food we require regular food parcel donations. If you go shopping, please consider adding a few additional items into your shopping basket, and dropping them off at Cornerstone or the Parish Centre. We are looking for toiletries, and food with a long shelf life.

Items that we require include:

  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Rice
