Ambler Christian Exercise (ACE)

The summer is almost past but an exciting day is planned for 4th September as we embark on the first ACE walk of the autumn session. Please join us on a walk along the former railway line between Threlkeld and Keswick. This is a delightful walk on a tarmac path crossing over bridges and traversing two tunnels. Toilets are available at the start and end, although 40p may be required. Somehow spending a penny no longer seems the way of things.

There is a large car park on the A66 at Threlkeld. The walk has interesting scenery all the way. Upon arrival in Keswick, picnics may be enjoyed in the park or sandwiches bought in the town.  The walk is 4 miles each way. There may even be an ice cream van halfway. Suggested time to meet at the church is 9.00am. Come along and join a great day out.  Please provide names and mobile numbers to John Edwards ( so a WhatsApp group can be organised.
