Over the last few months the Cornerstone working group have been busying themselves advancing the Cornerstone project. Working alongside Hyde Harrington, we have finalised the plans (details available on the Cornerstone Page) gained Planning and Building Regulations Approvals and have put the project out to tender.  Once tender prices come in we will have a clearer idea of the overall project cost.

We have also been looking at a number of grant making bodies to see if we can raise some additional funding on top of what we have already been given by the Congregation, the expected realisation of capital in connection with the Curatage and a substantial legacy. Whilst there is nothing firm yet, there are a number of possibilites that are still being pursued.

We are also excited that we have agreed to appoint a Centre Manager/Missioner subject to enough funding and PCC approval. Some information is available in the September Edition of Connect and we hope to have more details available towards the end of September.

We have been meeting at the premises regularly to pray for Cornerstone, however it is likely that these prayer meetings will now need to revert back to our Parish Centre as we prepare for demolition.   Further details regarding timing and venue for these prayer times should be available soon, either via the website or in our weekly church services.
